A higher than usual percentage of reserve wine (40% as opposed to the standard 10-15%), which is added before the wine undergoes its second fermentation, imbues this non-vintage champagne uncommon depth of character and complexity. Tantalizing notes of fresh baked bread, delicate florals, and hints of dried apricot evolve across a palate supported by crisp acidity and a tenacious, effervescent mousse. Ideal as an aperitif, but not only: pair with seafood, herb roasted chicken, or even duck breast.
